Unveiled: The Circumstances Surrounding Hulk Hogan’s Death
The curtain has been lifted on the circumstances surrounding the demise of WWE icon Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea. A comprehensive medical report, as shared by Page Six, revealed that the wrestling legend succumbed to a heart attack, or in medical parlance, a myocardial infarction.
The report, released by the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center, indicated that Hogan, at the age of 71, not only grappled with an irregular heartbeat, a condition medically termed as atrial fibrillation, but was also silently battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). CLL is a particular type of cancer that wages war against the white blood cells in the body.
The shocking disclosure that Hogan had been wrestling with cancer was not known to the public eye until this post-mortem report was made public. The said report led medical examiners to attribute Hogan’s demise to ‘natural’ causes.
A representative from the medical examiner’s office, while speaking to Page Six, confirmed that they had received a request for Hogan’s cremation. The spokesperson stated, “I am not privy to the precise timing of Mr. Bollea’s cremation, only that a request for approval for the same has been made.”
The larger-than-life wrestler’s residence in Clearwater, Florida, was the site of an emergency medical response on July 24th’s morning, where reports of a cardiac arrest had been made.
Hogan, whose influence and popularity in the world of professional wrestling are unparalleled, will be remembered as arguably the greatest wrestler that the world has ever witnessed. His legacy will continue to echo in the WWE halls and the hearts of wrestling fans worldwide.
